The University of Valladolid (UVA) is a Spanish public university, located in the city of Valladolid. It was founded in 1241, which makes it the third oldest university in Spain, behind the University of Palencia and the University of Salamanca. It has seven campuses distributed by four cities of Castilla y León: Valladolid, Palencia, Soria and Segovia.

  •      In the city of Valladolid, Valladolid Campus divided into:

  1.          Huerta del Rey Campus

  2.          campus Center

  3.          Campus esgueva

  4.          Campus Miguel Delibes,

  •      In the city of Soria: Campus Duques de Soria,

  •      In the city of Segovia: Segovia Campus.

  •      In the city of Palencia: Campus Yutera.

In 2012, the Science Faculty was moved from the building on the street Doctor Mergelina, Miguel Delibes to the campus, on the outskirts of the city.

How to get to the Campus from the hostel

To reach the campus from the hostel that we have recommended:

  •     If you continue the Paradise street to the University Hospital of Valladolid, in front of it, you can take the bus number 8 that leaves you at the entrance of the campus. Once there you will see the Faculty of Science. Here you have the map of bus lines.

  •     On foot takes about 20-25 minutes from the hostel we have recommended, get to the Campus. To go on foot, the easier way to get to the Campus (especially at first) is this: Go to the Hospital again, but instead of staying at the stop, continue to the end of Calle Ramon y Cajal (the street where the Hospital is) and take the perpendicular on your right right (street Chancillería). Continue straight on, then straight down the street Madre de Dios. Go straight to the Camino del Cementerio. After 20 minutes, approximately, on your right will appear the Campus (Faculty of Education...) you can go by that way or if you continue straight on where you were going, you will find on your right the Faculty of Sciences.
